Steps or Commands
FortiOS will always scan every attachment of an email, no matter the actual number. This can exceed 1 million for example (although not practical for sending email).
If an email has over 1168 infected attachments, the FortiGate unit may drop some clean attachments, if clean attachment is between two infected attachments and appear after the 1168th infected attachment in the email.
FortiOS will stop storing specific infection reports after 1168 attachments, but does not stop scanning. Infection reporting is done in the proxies only 1167 will be reported and replacement messages generated.
