Steps or Commands | Older and even recent versions of Cisco’s IP phone model 7941 add extra padding to their packets, which are dropped by the FortiGate NP2 processor. The packets sent do not fully comply with the 802.3 standard. Cisco has confirmed this as an issue, and has released a fix in the latest firmware SCCP41.9-4-1S with boot file 41.3-2-2-0.
