Configuring EvDo USB modems.

Components

FortiGate units supporting USB modems.
FortiOS 3.0 MR7 and higher.
Sierra Compass U597 or Novatel Ovation U727 modems

Steps or Commands

To configure these particular modems, configure the modem as you normally would. See the FortiGate Administration Guide and FortiGate Install Guide.

Then add these commands using the CLI for the respective devices. Note you must be using FortiOS 3.0 MR7 or higher to access these commands.
