Description The British Educational Communications and Technology Agency (Becta) is the British government's key partner in the strategic development and delivery of its information and communications. For more information, see the Becta web site.

British schools provide Internet access to students, filtered according to Becta standards. With the appropriate configuration, the FortiGuard web filtering service is compliant with Becta standards. The configuration script included in this article provides a protection profile, disclaimer, and banned word list based on Becta standards. Apply the protection profile to the appropriate policies to provide a safe and secure web experience to students.

Changing the script or modifying the configuration once the script is loaded will make the configuration non-compliant to Becta standards.
