Description

The following process can be used to manually uninstall FSAE Collector Agents installed on a Domain Controller.

1. Stop the FSAE service and set it to manual or disabled.
2. Go to the system32 directory and rename the file dcagent.dll to dcagent.dll.old
3. Run the un-installer.
4. Reboot the server.

When using an older version of FSAE, and if there have been any problems remaining or Registry Keys NOT removed, the following keys can manually be removed:

Use regedit.exe and check both HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\MSV1_0 and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\Kerberos

* If there is a value named "Auth0" with data "dcagent", remove it.
* If there is a value named "Saved_auth0", rename it to "Auth0"

To uninstall the collector agent

* Stop the service from the service control manager.
* Use regedit.exe and remove the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Fortinet_FSAE
* Remove the directory %programfiles%\fortinet\fsae.
