Description

The Internet Explorer 8.0 browser is supported following the release of FortiOS 4.1.2 for all GUI browsing operations.

If a Fortinet device is running a version prior to FortiOS 4.1.2 and Internet Explorer 8.0 is used then follow the instructions in the Microsoft Support Article http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd567845(VS.85).aspx to ensure compatibility mode is enabled within the IE 8.0 brwoser.

This will ensure that the browser reverts to Internet Explorer 7 in the event of an incompatibility issue.
