Solution
Once a FortiGate administrator has added the Per-IP Bandwidth Usage Widgit in FortiOS 4.0 MR2 to the GUI there are some customization options that can be used to enhance the usage of the Widget.
1. To bring up the Widget, edit menu then scroll over the edit icon which appears when scrolling over the top right part of the Widgit as shown below:-
2. Once the edit menu is displayed then the following options are available:-
-Display Name Customisation
-Resolve Host Name
-The Display Format can be either a Chart or Table
-Top Entries to Show the default value being 10, this can be modified to values 5, 10, 20, or 25
-An automatic Refresh Interval with the default being 0 which means the refresh interval is disabled by default, this can be modified between 10-240 seconds giving an Administrator the visibility on bandwidth usage per-IP sessions.
In the example below by modifiying the Display Format to Table after validating by clicking on "OK" the display will change from a Chart as shown above to a Table as shown below:-
