Description
Following the release of FortiOS 4.0MR2 there is an enhanced log view available to Administrators wishing to browse and look more closely at log entries on the FortiGate device.
Scope
FortiOS 4.0 MR2 and above
Solution
To access the new log view, double click on an individual log entry from the Log&Report menu of the GUI (WEB Based Manager) ; this in turn will bring up on the right-hand of the screen a browse-able "Log Details" menu in a vertical format as shown below :
This option is available in both Formatted and Raw view.
From the "Log Details" view, all logs are browse-able by clicking on the cursor arrows in the top right of the "Log Details" window.
