Description

When a firewall is upgraded from v4.0 MR1 to v4.0 MR2, the unused protection profiles will remain in the configuration and cannot be deleted. This is because protection profile functionality has been altered in v4.0 MR2.

To resolve this situation modify the configuration as follows:

1) Remove the profile-group using the CLI commands:

# config firewall profile-group

# delete xxx (xxx will be the name of the profile group)

2) Remove the individual UTM profiles from the GUI.
