This article explains how to calculate the maximum allowed local disk quota and remote cache quota for email archive accounts.
The maximum allowed local disk quota and remote cache quota for email archive accounts is calculated as 20% of the "Mailbox disk" capacity.
For example:
The mailbox disk capacity is 87GB therefore the maximum allowed local disk (remote cache) quota or archive disk space capacity is 20% of 87GB = 17GB.
The local disk (remote cache) quota can thus be configured from 1GB to 17GB.
It should be noted that the archive disk space is shared for all of the email archive accounts.
