Description

The FortiGate 60C hardware revision 3 has a USB flash with an in-built controller. This means there is no requirement for scan flash or debug commands in BIOS.


Scope

FortiGate 60C hardware revision 3.


Solution
There is no NAND scan bad block option on the boot menu of the FortiGate 60C hardware revision 3. This is due to the hardware specification of this model. The boot menu options are shown below:

"Enter G,F,I,B,Q,or H:


[p]: Normal POST test.
[q]: Quit this menu.
Unknown command 'nand' - try 'help'
NAND scan failed. Try to reboot."
