Description

This article describes the procedure to resolve a scenario, when the FortiGate GUI dashboard shows the following error for the FortiCloud service:

 
   "Status     Activation Pending. Please view confirmation email."

 

Scope

FortiCloud service activation.

Solution

Please follow these steps:

1. Clean the FortiCloud account ID in the cache with the CLI command below:
 
config system fortiguard-log
unset service-account-id
end
 
2. Activate the FortiCloud account again from the FortiGate GUI dashboard.
 
3. Manually trigger an ‘update’ request with the CLI command below:
 
execute fortiguard-log update
