Description
The equipment
serial number of all FortiGate chassis products and appliances should
appear on a silver label attached to the unit. The position of this
label will depend upon the model; it may be on the rear, the top, or the
side of the unit.
When a chassis or unit is mounted into a rack it may not be possible to see the label. For example, the label of a FG-5140B is usually positioned on the side of the chassis and cannot be seen when in a rack.
