Description

After loading an HQIP image and performing the Hardware Quick Inspection Procedure on the unavailable unit the following error is returned in the results:

Testing write and read to hard disk(/dev/sda): Size xxxxMB
hdtest.c(xxx): Read error:Input/output error.
hdtest.c(xxx):
Total 1 block(s) read/write error.

<== Boot Device Test - FAIL

Solution

The unit possibly has a defective Boot Device. Please contact your partner or Fortinet Technical Support for further assistance.
