Description
This article applies to FortiSandbox-VM only.

After upgrading from v.1.x.x to v2.0, users may encounter activation issues such as the following:

This is assuming that the Windows-VMs have already been updated either automatically or manually.

Due to differences in licensing, it is required to download a new FortiSandbox-VM license from the support portal for usage in FSA 2.0. To download, please go to the Support Portal, click on Asset->Manage/View Products. Select your FortiSandbox-VM and the following page will appear:

Where it says License File: License File Download is the location of the new license file. After uploading this file to your FortiSandbox, reboot it to trigger a new activation sequence.
