Solution
By default, each FortiGate will have two free FortiToken mobiles that comes with the firmware. When this FortiToken is assigned to a particular user, the message 'No email or sms specified' may be seen:

Solution
The error message "Input not as expected" is returned because the email address has been configured but the SMTP email server was not configured. Therefore, email will not work correctly and the error message is shown.
To overcome this error message, the SMTP email server must be configured.
For Firmware 5.2, the SMTP email server can be configured at System > Config > Advanced.
For Firmware 5.0, the SMTP email server is configured at System > Config > Messaging Servers.
