FortiAP
FortiAP devices are thin wireless access points (AP) supporting the latest Wi-Fi technologies (multi-user MIMO 802.11ac Wave 1 and Wave 2, 4x4), as well as 802.11n, 802.11AX , and the demand for plug and play deployment.

Description
This article describes changing transmit power on FortiAP.

Solution
On the FortiGate under AP profile, the slider shows transmit power in %.

Value is in milliwatts

For example in most European countries the maximum allowed power is 100mW = 20dBm.
If slider is moved to 50%, it will be 50% of 100mW=50mW which is 17dBm.

Most common values in dBm and mW

0 dBm = 1 mW
3 dBm = 2 mW
6 dBm = 4 mW
9 dBm = 7.9 mW
12 dBm = 15.8 mW
15 dBm = 31.6 mW
18 dBm = 61.1 mW
21 dBm = 125.9 mW
24 dBm = 251.2 mW
