Technical Note: Forcing FortiGate to refresh the upgraded FortiCloud quota (200GB)

Description

Sometimes the FortiCloud account activated on the FortiGate is shown as “Free version (1.00GB)” when actually it has been upgraded to 200GB. 

Usually, this issue can be fixed rebooting the FortiGate. However, this might not be possible due to the importance of keeping up and accessible external services.

Solution

Executing the following command on the FortiGate CLI, the new FortiCloud quota (200.00GB) will be updated directly from FortiGuard servers:

execute fortiguard-log update
