Technical Note: FG-5053B Power Converter SNMP traps

Description

This article describes how to configure SNMP traps on the FortiGate 5053B Power Converter.

Solution

The FG-5053B Power Converter can be configured to send SNMP traps in order to inform the SNMP station of an event such as an alarm notification (rectifier issue, power outage etc).

1) Configure the traps destination (Settings > Network).

2) Assign alarm and events to specific SNMP destination (Settings > Alarm Notification).

3) Test SNMP Traps (Maintenance > start snmp trap test).

SNMP Traps should go to the SNMP station.
