Solution
If you would like to reset your controller to default settings, you can follow the below procedure. This will restore the passwords and system configuration to the original factory settings.

STEPS TO RESET THE CONTROLLER

METHOD 1: Resetting the controller during the startup.

STEP 1: Connect the controller using the console port and power off then power on the controller.

STEP 2: At boot up when the controller prompts “accepting reset request” type the word "reset" and hit enter. Make sure that you do it quick as the window is only available for a few seconds. The settings for the entire system will be reset to their default values.

METHOD 2: Resetting the controller from CLI.

STEP 1: We can also reset the controller from the CLI mode by typing “reload default”. This will reset the controller to factory default and reboot the controller.
