Meru Technical Note - Issue with configuring MSChap V2on Windows

Description

There can be an issue trying to configure MSChap V2 on Windows.

The domain may be joined successfully and when user tries to do an 802.1x auth nothing happens. We get the username and password prompt but the auth fails every time.
 
Error message seen on IDM’s system log : rpc_api_pipe: Remote machine hsd-dsfw-1.dsfw.hartfordjt1.k12.wi.us pipe \NETLOGON fnum 0x429breturned critical error. Error was NT_STATUS_PIPE_NOT_AVAILABLE

Solution

Disconnect IDM from the domain and join the domain again. That should fix the issue.
