Solution
Issue can be resolved by disabling single sign on and clicking on Replace Credentials under Wireless connection properties, the user can locally store their current AD username and password.  The result is that the wireless connection authenticates automatically even if the device is rebooted.  The only "issue" arises when the user changes their AD password. Upon doing so, the user will simply need to remember to go into their wireless settings, click on that button, and update their stored credentials.
