How To Create/Restore a Backup in IDM?

Solution
To create a Backup:

- Browse to Server -> Backup/Restore
- Under Backup Settings, you can choose to store the backup file under FTP, SFTP or locally (on the IDM).
- Use the options on the same page to store (S)/FTP username and password, FTP server directory path, active/passive mode FTP and no. of server backups.
- You can also download an instantaneous backup Snapshot (for which a minimum of 40% of disk space is required).

To restore a Backup, simply browse to Restore a Backup File.

You can also restore one backup on a fresh IDM. The only restriction is that the version must match exactly (down to the patch version).
