DescriptionBy default, FortiVoice Enterprise is not configured to handle SIP over TCP messages. This has to be explicitly configured.
SolutionUse the following steps to get an extension to handle SIP over TCP messages.
1) Enable the TCP protocol in Phone System > Advanced Settings. On the SIP tab check the box 'Enable TCP' under Transport Setting.
2) In Phone System > Profiles, on the SIP tab click on 'New'.
3) Name the profile with a meaningful name (for example 'SIPoTCP') and under Transport section select TCP.
4) In Extensions > Extensions, edit the extension that is to handle TCP messages. In the Advanced Setting section choose the TCP profile that was created in step 3.
