If you are using a Hewlett Packard system equipped with a Smart Array P212, P410, P410i, P411, and P712m controller, you may experience these symptoms:
- Your ESX host may stop responding
- Your ESX host may not respond to external network traffic
- Your ESX host may not respond to commands at the local console
Solution Steps
This is an issue with firmware version 2.00 for the Smart Array P212, P410, P410i, P411, and P712m controllers on Hewlett Packard systems.
This issue has been resolved in firmware version 2.50 of the storage controller.
