This article describes how to register or re-register a collector or a super.
Solution
Version 4.X, 5.0.X, 5.1.X
Here is a step by step guide to register a collector to Super:
1. Open a web browser
2. Enter the following URL. Use the IP Address of the Collector you are registering.
https://<collector IP>:5480
3. Fill in the requested information and click the SAVE button.
Version 5.2.X
1) SSH to the Collector as root and run following script to register Collectors: phProvisionCollector –add
phProvisionCollector --add <Organization-user-name> <Organization-user-password> <Supervisor-IP> <Organization-name> <Collector-name>
a. Set User and Password use the admin User Name and password for either the Supervisor or the ORG its being registered too
b. Set IP Address as 'Supervisor IP'.
c. Set Organization as the designated "ORG name”.
d. Set Name of the collector specified in the UI
Example:
phProvisionCollector --add MRobles mys3cretPassword 10.10.1.1 superFriendly westCovina-CO1
2.) The Collector will reboot during the Registration
