This article explains how to change the system mode remotely on a FortiVoice D-Series system.

Changing the system mode remotely on D-Series system.

Web Interface

1. Log into the web interface to make changes.

2. Follow the instruction Under the Change mode section on page 17 & 18 from the FortiVoice v5.0.1 Administration Guide.

Soft phone extension or external extension:

1. Follow the instructions under Extensions > IP Extensions beginning on page 22 of the FortiVoice v5.0.1 Administration Guide. to configure a soft phone or external extension.

2.Once the extension has been configured at the extension dial tone do the following:

a) Dial ***+30# - this will have the system announce the current mode.
b) Dial ***+31# - this will place the system in mode 1; system will announce the mode change.
c) Dial ***+32# - this will place the system in mode 2; system will announce the mode change.
d) Dial ***+33# - this will place the system in mode 3; system will announce the mode change.
e) Dial ***+34# - this will place the system in mode 4; system will announce the mode change.
f) Dial ***+35# - this will place the system in mode 5; system will announce the mode change.
