When changes to IP, DNS, hostname, or moving your AO-VA to another ESXI is completed, you will be required to re-register the AO-VA against the licensing server.
Solution Steps
Each time you make this change, please contact AO Support in order to get your license reset in order to properly re-register your AO-VA
Additional Information
The hash that is created is based off of the UUDI. Any change of network information or moving of the VM will require the license to be re-registered. There is a hash created during the registration process that uses the IP address, MAC address, etc… So when the IP address changes the hash will change and AO will not start the ph processes.
