Description

This article explains how to check if a file is available on an external FTP server from the controller.

Scope

FortiWLC 6.x and above.

Solution

When copying a file from an FTP server to a controller or vice versa, it is not necessary to go to the ftp server to view the current directory and the files.

Execute the following command on the controller to list all the files in the current directory of the ftp server:

dir ftp://<user name>:<password>@<server ip>/
