When the internal captive portal SSID is configured in bridge mode the customized page will not load up and either the default page or no page will be seen.

SolutionThe root cause is that when the custom CP option is selected as “Customized” before importing the customized HTML pages, files are not getting pushed to the AP.
The following steps provide a workaround to get the customized captive portal page without rebooting the AP.
1) Import the customized pages.
2) Select the mode as “Customized” and click on “change mode”.
This can then be verified by refreshing the page and confirming that it is now on the custom page now.
Test with the device and it should get the custom captive portal page.
