When user connects with FortiClient, Fortinet administrator can see the message 'Offnet'
This document explains reasons why FortiGate see FortiClient as “Offnet”
Solution
'Offnet' can be appear because:
- The endpoint should be connected to the FortiGate interface where the FortiClient is registered
- The endpoint IP address should be assigned by a DHCP server
- The DHCP server needs to send the proper tag within the protocol to identify if the client is on-net or off-net
