This article discusses the use of FortiLink with third party devices.
Scope
FortiGate (any model) v5.6.2, FortiSwitch (any model) v3.6.3
Solution
FortiLink is not currently officially supported over any third party devices or ISP.
FortiLink can be formed only if:
- FortiSwitch is directly connected to a FortiGate
- FortiSwitch is connected to a FortiGate through another FortiSwitch (which is already in FortiLink mode).
