Technical Note: Forticloud sending alert Emails when AP is down

Description

A feature was introduced in Forticloud v3.2 which can send alert emails when AP is down.

Scope

FortiCloud v3.2

Solution

In order to receive alert emails, the email address to which alerts are to be sent needs to be configured.

In the FortiCloud option AP network > Configure > Network > AP Network Alert there is a field in which the destination email address can be specified.
