Description
This article explains why the 3rd interface operation status shows "power down" on the AP433i Access Point.

Solution
This scenario is illustrated below with the AP433i powered with 802.3af and only 2 radio interfaces (2x2) having come up.

To bring up 3 radio interface (3x3) it is necessary to provide 802.3at (IEEE Std 802.3at-complied PoE sources).  Providing 802.3at power brings up all three radio interface of the AP433i.

Refer also to the AP433 Installation Guide which is available in the Fortinet Document Library.
