Description
VLAN Not Switching from Registration to Production on Cisco Controller

Solution

Issue: After successfully registering host, VLAN does not switch to production on Cisco Controller.  If host is disassociated from the controller, the host is assigned the correct production VLAN.

Network Sentry needs to disassociate the host after registration is complete in order for the new VLAN to be assigned.  The method used to disassociate a host from a Cisco controller is SNMP.

Solution: Ensure SNMP communication with the controller is completing.  Navigate to Topology and click "Validate Credentials" under the Credential tab of the controller model.
