Description
Processes not starting after moving VM to another host.

Licensing is based on the Ethernet 0 mac address and UUID of the appliance. Performing a server migration can cause these variables to change.

To validate that this is the cause of the down processes, from the CLI of the Network Sentry Server or Network Sentry Control Server, type the below 2 commands.

tail -50 output.master
If the output is similar to that seen below, then the license key is invalid:

Solution
Option1 (recommended):  Statically assign the original mac address and UUID to the new appliance.

Option 2:   If the UUID and MAC Address cannot be changed to reflect the old values, request a new license key.  This requires contacting Fortinet Customer Service.  See related KB article below.
