Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2008 are not selectable in Endpoint Compliance Policies

Solution

Version: 6.x, 7.x

Issue: A network admin navigates to Policy > Policy Configuration > Scans > Custom Scans and creates a new custom scan and notices that Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server R2 are omitted.

Workaround:  Network Sentry should be configured with the following operating systems for Windows 2008 Server and Windows 2008 Server R2:

Select Vista for Windows Server 2008

Select Windows 7 for Windows Server 2008 R2

• File
• Hot Fixes
• Processes
• Prohibited Domain Verification
• Prohibited Processes
• Registry Keys
• Registry Version
