Description
Newly Created Analytics User Not in Database and Can't See Dashboard

Solution
Issue:  Newly created Analytics user can't see the dashboard.

In order for a user account to display data, the appliance (Client) must be configured to access the data.  This requires the following steps be completed:
1. Create User - Create account for accessing Network Sentry/Analytics.
2. Associate the User to the Bradford Networks Control Server – Specify to which Control Server(s) a Network Sentry/Analytics User has visibility.
3.  Set Preferred Client - Select the Network Sentry Control Server(s) that are desired to be designated as the default client(s) in the Dashboard.

If the Analytics admin user creates a user but does not create an association for that user, the newly created user will not be seen in the database and will not be able to access the dashboard.

Solution:  Create an association for newly created users.
1.  Login to the Analytics Server UI using an admin account.
2.  Navigate to Manage -> Manage Application -> Manage Association -> Add Association.
3.  Select the newly created user (under username).
4.  Select the clients that this user has permission to utilize (under client).
5.  Select Local Admin or Report User depending on permission level required for the new user.
6.  Click Apply.

Once the association has been made, set the Preferred Client for that user.  See Solution 2255.
