Description
SNMPv3 communication to devices becomes unsuccessful over time.  Initial SNMPv3 communication is successful, but subsequent reads are not.  This is an acknowledged problem with NAC’s SNMPv3 stack.

Symptoms include:
- L3 and/or L2 Polling failures using SNMPv3.
- Credential validation test fails for SNMP in Topology view.  However, the SNMPv3 credentials have been confirmed to be correct and worked previously.  A snmpwalk of the affected device from NAC CLI also works.
- Clicking the "Clear Engine ID" button does not clear the condition.

Scope
Version: 8.1.0 and lower

Solution
Workaround: Restart NAC's processes to clear the failure condition and resynchronize the SNMPv3 stack for successful SNMP communication.

Solution:  Addressed in Network Sentry version 8.1.1 and higher.
