This article provides best practices for adding and removing DHCP scopes used in isolation networks.

Solution
DHCP scopes should be added and removed using the Configuration Wizard. Refer to the applicable hardware install guide in the Fortinet Document Library for instructions on adding DHCP scopes using Configuration Wizard.

For L2 Network Configurations (isolation VLANs tagged back to eth1 isolation interface) refer to the chapter "Layer 2 Network - Configure VLANs".

For L3 Network Configurations (isolation VLANs on separate networks and routed to eth1) refer to the chapter "Layer 3 Network - Route Scopes".
