Solution

Version: Network Sentry 8.0.1 and below

Issue: If a Device Profiling rule is created to register IP Phones using the DHCP method, it is possible devices running Microsoft Lync software could match this rule and automatically register as an IP Phone. This is due to shared DHCP Fingerprints.

Solution: Fixed in Network Sentry Version 8.0.1 and above.
