Description
Registered Hosts in Airwatch are Rouges in Network Sentry

Scope
Version:  Network Sentry: (N/A), Airwatch version 8.3
Solution
Version:  Network Sentry: (N/A), Airwatch version 8.3

Issue:  Network Sentry queries Airwatch requesting 100 host records at a time during a scheduled poll. Airwatch responds with less than 100 hosts. Network Sentry assumes that is all of the host records in the Airwatch database as there are fewer records returned than requested, so the query ends. Network Sentry does not request any additional records. Host records that were not returned as part of the query will remain rouges.

Normally if there are more than 100 records in the Airwatch database, when Network Sentry requests 100 records, Airwatch will return 100 records. This triggers Network Sentry to perform an additional query requesting 100 more records. This continues until less than 100 records are returned.

Based on customer feedback, this is a bug in version 8.3 of Airwatch.

Solution:  Customers have reported that Airwatch has addressed this in version 8.4. There may also be a Feature Pack available for version 8.3. Consult Airwatch support to verify.
