Description

Agent Communication Fails after Agent Downgrade

Solution

Issue: Downgrading version 3.x and newer of the Persistent Agent on Windows to an older version of the Persistent Agent fails. The newly installed (older) agent will not start.

Downgrading to version 2.2 of the Persistent Agent does not have this issue.

Solution: Using the "Repair" feature of Windows often corrects the issue.
