Typically,
the "Update VLANs" and "L2 Poll" functions run separately for a given
modeled device. However, VLAN information will be updated during the L2
Polling process for a device under one of the following conditions:
It is the first time reading the device (such as when it is added to Topology).
Sometime during the polling interval, contact with the switch was lost.
The
switch's uptime is less than what it was at the last poll. This would
suggest the switch rebooted and a VLAN update is needed.
