Description
The following message displays while navigating in the Administration UI.

"HTTP Status 401 - You do not have permission to access the requested resource"

This has been seen when a Windows machine used to access the Administration UI has two active network interfaces at the same time (such as both wired and wireless interfaces are up).

Tomcat-Admin logs will show something similar to the following:

**WARNING** IP Address x.x.x.x attempting to hijack session from x.x.x.x

Windows can change its active interface periodically.  Traffic originally sourced from one interface starts transmitting out the other.  This changes the source IP address and can trigger Tomcat-Admin to report a conflict.

Solution
Disable one of the network interfaces on the Windows machine.
