Issue: After entering credentials in the Captive Portal to register host, a message appears stating the file could not be downloaded.
This can occur if the host is matching the wrong Endpoint Compliance Policy and an incompatible agent is attempting to be downloaded (e.g. Windows agent to an iPhone).
Solution:
1. Review the Policy Details in Host View to verify which policy the host is matching.
2. Review the User/Host Profile associated with that Endpoint Compliance Policy as well as the policy the host is supposed to match.
3. Make any necessary adjustments, (such as possibly changing rank or adding criteria).
