Description
Registered mobile devices display Host Roles that are not created in the appliance (not listed under Policy > Roles (8.x) or Policy & Objects > Roles (9.x)).  Roles displayed are one of the following:  

Employee Owned
Corporate Owned
Corporate - Shared
Corporate - Dedicated

These devices were registered from a MobileIron or AirWatch MDM integrated with the appliance.

Scope
Version: 8.x and greater.

Solution
This is normal.

Mobile devices registered from MobileIron will be assigned one of the following roles:
- Employee Owned
- Corporate Owned
- NAC - Default (if not defined in MobileIron)

Mobile devices registered from AirWatch will be assigned one of the following roles:
- Employee Owned
- Corporate - Shared
- Corporate - Dedicated
- NAC - Default (if not defined in AirWatch)

These roles can be used as a filter in User/Host Profiles. Roles that are defined by MobileIron or Airwatch are not added to the list of possible roles in the appliance and will not be available in any drop-down lists used for role assignment.
