Solution

Version: Network Sentry 8.1.0

Issue: Under certain circumstances, a host record can appear on a port incorrectly on HP/Aruba switches managed using SNMPv3.

Upon inspection of the mac address table of the switch, the mac address in question will be present in the table, only on a different port than what Network Sentry is reporting.

Solution: Contact Bradford Support for a fix or upgrade to version 8.1.1 of Network Sentry when available.
