In order for discovery using CDP Polling to work for Cisco switches using SNMP v3, the switches must allow Network Sentry to properly read CDP MIB information (CISCO-CDP-MIB).     

Since SNMP v3 does not allow access by default, the SNMP User/View created for Network Sentry must be configured on the switch to allow access to CISCO-CDP-MIB (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23).  Refer to the appropriate Cisco documentation for configuration instructions.
