Description
Incorrect Vendor Names Introduced in November 6 Auto Definitions

Scope
Version:   November 6 Auto-Definitions Update
Solution
Version:  November 6 Auto-Definitions Update

Issue:  Incorrect Vendor Names were introduced in the November 6 Auto-Definitions update.  This can prevent rules that match based on vendor names (such as Device Profiling Rules) from matching.

Example:  Vendor OUI Code 00:A3:D1 was incorrectly associated to Vendor Name "Cisco Systems, In" instead of "Cisco Systems, Inc" in the Network Sentry database.

Navigate to System > Settings > Vendor OUI to view the Vendor OUI Codes and associated Vendor Names.

Solution:  Ensure the November 13 Auto-Definitions are downloaded.

To verify latest definitions are downloaded:
1.  In the Administrative UI, navigate to System > Scheduler.
2.  If Auto-Definition Synchronizer task has not yet run, highlight and click Run Now.
